According to a leading royal expert, the Duke of Sussex has said his "final goodbye" to royal life in the UK after he reached the "last straw" with his family
Over a year ago, in March 2023, following the release of the Duke of Sussex's memoir Spare, it was disclosed that King Charles had asked his son and his wife Meghan Markle to leave their home. The couple relocated to the US in 2020 (Image: GETTY)It's also been suggested that his return for the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games was the Duke's final "goodbye" to royal life and his former homeland. "However deep the rift with his father and brother, Harry always had hopes that he and Meghan might eventually be allowed to re-establish Frogmore Cottage at Windsor as their UK base," Tom told The Mirror.
