Prince Harry's £8,000 Disney-themed gift to Prince George, Charlotte and Louis
Prince Harry gave his nephew Prince Louis a very special gift for his christening and it was thought to be inspired by his late mother Princess Diana's love of classic books
The Duke of Sussex chose a particularly meaningful present and paid a princely sum for a first edition of A.A. Milne's classic, Winnie the Pooh from 1926, inspired by cherished memories he had with his mother Princess Diana, who adored the ritual of reading timeless tales. Despite eyeing a £24,000 copy of Lewis Carrolls Through The Looking Glass, Prince Harry instead opted for the more child-friendly Winnie-The-Pooh as he thought it would be the perfect inaugural addition to their mini-library. This thoughtful keepsake was then bestowed upon Prince Louis at his christening, held on July 9, 2018 at St James's Palace, an occasion attended by both Harry and Meghan Markle.
