Prince Harry wanted to 'look like a hero' as he dashed to father's side, claims royal expert

A royal expert has criticised Prince Harry for heading to an awards bash shortly after visiting his father King Charles in the UK, claiming the Duke wanted to 'look like a hero'

The Duke of Sussex, 39, jetted from California to London after he was told by his father, 75, that he had been diagnosed with cancer following a procedure to treat an enlarged prostate in January. The audience were stunned when Harry unexpectedly emerged on stage to hand out the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award to Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Cameron Heyward. Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield has now criticised Harry for his appearance at the awards bash, branding him "ruthless" and accusing him of "trying to insert himself into a major news story".
