Prince Harry has 'sullied his achievements' by failing to take 'graceful' decision


EXCLUSIVE: Although Prince Harry accepted an award at a dazzling event in Los Angeles on Thursday, he should have gracefully declined, according to a leading royal expert

The prince faced backlash with the mother of war hero Pat Tillman saying she was “shocked” over the decision to hand the award to the royal (Image: Getty Images) However, ESPN then addressed the backlash and a spokesperson for ESPY responded in a statement, saying: “ESPN, with the support of the Tillman Foundation, is honouring Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, specifically for the work of The Invictus Games Foundation as it celebrates its 10th year promoting healing through the power of sport for military service members and veterans around the world. The 2024 ESPY (Excellence in Sport Performance Yearly) ceremony in Los Angeles was hosted by tennis champion Serena Williams – who is a close friend of Harry and Meghan. During her opening monologue, Serena joked: "Please Harry and Meghan, try not to breathe too much tonight, because this is my night, and I don’t want to be overshadowed by the accusations that you guys are taking up too much oxygen."
