Prince Harry announces new high-profile trip - but Meghan Markle will not be joining him

Prince Harry has announced the date and location of his next solo trip, with the Duke of Sussex set to travel to New York City in September - just weeks after his Colombia visit

Prince William, 42, kicked off the competition back in 2020 with the main aim of sparking impactful and sustainable solutions to some of the planet's most pressing environmental issues, including conservation, deforestation, and climate change. The crucial summit gathered parents who had suffered heartbreaking loss linked to their child's social media use, and the Duke and Duchess engaged in a poignant on-stage conversation with Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, moderated by Carson Daly. Clearly dedicated to safeguarding children online, the couple even unveiled a new initiative earlier this year related to that summit, when they announced the launch of The Parents Network just before Meghan celebrated her 43rd birthday at the beginning of the month.
