And Jobson’s new book alleges that the two brothers’ fraught relationship took another hit before the wedding, claiming that, amidst concerns about Harry and Meghan’s relationship, Prince William reportedly "sought assurances" from his grandmother, the late Queen, that Meghan Markle wouldn't be wearing any of Princess Diana's jewellery for her Big Day - though his wife Kate is in possession of a beautiful sapphire engagement ring of Diana’s. And our source claims that Willliam, himself dubbed 'Waity William' as it had taken him nearly a decade to approve his own life partner in Kate, did indeed have his reservations about Harry marrying someone he had only known for two years.
