Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 'nod to Diana' at wedding that had him 'choked up'
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle celebrate their seventh wedding anniversary today (Monday, May 19) but royal fans are just spotting the ways they played tribute to Princess Diana during the ceremony
Meghan wowed in a dress designed by Clare Waight Keller under the Givenchy label, while Harry sported the frockcoat uniform of the Household Cavalry (the 'Blues and Royals'), made by tailors at Dege & Skinner on Savile Row. A statement from Kensington Palace about the song choice read: "Both Prince Harry and Ms Markle have taken a great deal of interest and care in choosing the music for their service, which will include a number of well-known hymns and choral works." "At the wedding ceremony, after the Archbishop of Canterbury's opening speech, Lady Jane Fellowes - Diana's sister - read the eight chapter of the Song of Solomon from the Bible about eternal love," the video added.
