Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'scared' to give rare royal title to son Archie

The couple's first-born child Archie came into the world six years ago today, and he was almost bestowed with a unique title, but his parents were worried about one thing

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were said to have snubbed a rare royal title for their eldest child Prince Archie over fears he might be subjected to mockery or bullying. In 2020, upon their withdrawal as active members of the Royal family and relocating from the UK to North America, Harry and Meghan relinquished the public use of their HRH titles.
