Prince Harry 'snubbed staying in royal residence' during his UK visit amid 'fears'
Prince Harry was reportedly invited to stay in a Royal residence by King Charles while visiting the UK earlier this year, but he opted to stay in a hotel instead
Despite being nearby at Clarence House, Charles reportedly proposed they use Buckingham Palace as a meeting spot to seize the rare chance for some father-son time. Harry's spokesperson commented at the time: "In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not the duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty's full programme. Earlier reports by The Telegraph suggested the Duke had declined a Royal residence stay because it offered no security, leaving him without police protection and vulnerable at a location with public access.
