It's been reported that while Prince Harry's pals based in Britain are keen to see him more, the official stipulation to notify authorities 28 days ahead of visiting the country means he can mostly only make it back for significant celebrations or well-scheduled public engagements. "Harry didn't have plans to visit the UK this summer so when something last-minute arises like a funeral, it becomes a very difficult situation to navigate," the source conveyed. When pressed if there'd be any leeway given for emergency trips like attending a family funeral, an official spokesperson reiterated: "The UK Government's protective security system is rigorous and proportionate.
