Prince Andrew's 31-bedroom Royal Lodge home in disrepair with mould and cracks after King 'axes allowance'

The Duke of York, who has lived at the Royal Lodge since 2003, has reportedly had his £1 million-a-year allowance cut off by his brother King Charles after months of tension between the pair

New photos reveal that Prince Andrew' s Royal Lodge appears to be in a serious state of neglect, with black mould, damp and cracked paintwork starting to show on the exterior of the 31-bedroom mansion in Windsor. Since his ascension to the throne, King Charles has reportedly asked Andrew multiple times to leave the lodge and relocate to the smaller Frogmore Cottage, previously occupied by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The Inside Story, author Robert Hardman claimed that Andrew will be responsible for the protection of several valuable and historical art pieces and furniture borrowed from the Royal Collection.
