Prince Andrew 'wins' Royal Lodge battle as King Charles left with 'no power'

The Duke of York has lived at Royal Lodge, in Windsor, for 20 years but his brother, King Charles, is said to be keen for him to move to a smaller home to save on public funds

Richard Palmer, posting on social media site X, stated that Charles "wants Andrew to pay his own property maintenance and security costs now he's no longer a working royal." Andrew was notably stripped of his Royal titles in 2022 after settling a sexual assault claim out of court, reports the Scottish Daily Express. His friendship with disgraced sex offender Jeffrey Epstein continues to haunt him, and he has also faced allegations of sexual crimes, which he strongly denies.
