Primus Post Open Call for Drummer Following Tim Alexander’s Departure
Primus have announced they are looking for a drummer to replace Tim Alexander in an open call.
The rock band have shared an open call on social media, inviting people to audition as Tim Alexander ‘s replacement after his sudden departure. After several attempts to communicate with Herb, his only response was another email stating that he has ‘lost his passion for playing.’ As disappointing as that is, we respect his choice and it’s forced us to make some tough decisions.” Though not the band’s founding drummer, Alexander was considered part of Primus’ “classic” lineup, joining the group in 1989 and appearing on their 1990 debut album Frizzle Fry and breakout LPs Sailing the Seas of Cheese and Pork Soda.
