Prime Video Wraps Its Most Ambitious Action Thriller in Latin America, ‘A Billion to One’ With Omar Chaparro and Alejandro Speitzer (EXCLUSIVE)
Prime Video has wrapped its most ambitious large-scale action pic in Latin America, ‘A Billion to One,’ starring Omar Chaparro and Alejandro Speitzer.
“This project represents a significant milestone for our local productions, and we are excited to continue our great relationship with El Estudio, as well as to have such talented actors as our cast to bring this story to audiences worldwide,” said Alonso Aguilar, head of original content for Prime Video in Mexico. “It’s been a challenge and a pleasure to experiment with this fun mix of genres and wrap it in Mexico and its characters,” said Valdés who is known for his action-packed ads and has recently worked as a second-unit director in the upcoming Eddie Murphy crime-busting comedy “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F.” So, it’s an honor and an incredible adventure to be able to make ‘A Billion to One,’ a 100 percent Mexican action film, built, made and designed for our audience but also with a global reach,” Aguilar added.
