Prime Video Confirms ‘Last One Laughing UK’ With Jimmy Carr Presenting — Edinburgh
Prime Video has confirmed it is making a UK version of international format 'Last One Laughing', with Jimmy Carr presenting.
“It has the holy grail of format development: an incredible simple concept, really universal,” said Cat Lynch, UK Unscripted Executive at Amazon MGM Studios announcing the show today at the Edinburgh TV Festival. Last One Laughing UK is adapted from the Amazon original Documental out of Japan, created by and starring Hitoshi Matsumoto and owned by Yoshimoto Kogyo. Local celebrity hosts include Graham Norton (Ireland), Jay Baruchel (Canada), Eugenio Derbez (Mexico), Fedez (Italy), Michael “Bully” Herbig (Germany), Rebel Wilson (Australia) and Trevor Noah (South Africa).
