Primark to introduce new fee at checkout from May 12 in eco-friendly move

Primark is known for its brown paper bags, which have been free since the high-street store began selling them, but they are about to change the policy

Primark, the high-street fashion giant known for its budget-friendly prices and signature brown paper bags, is making a significant change. In a further bid to help the environment, Primark bosses have announced the date for when customers will need to start paying for these previously free brown paper bags.
