As for the drum, a concoction of four-parts water plus a dash of white vinegar, followed by a hot cycle, will restore your machine back to squeaky-clean glory. To tackle the mould on your washing machine's rubber seal, simply dip a cotton wool ball or pad in white vinegar and give it a good wipe.
