Pretty as a peacock! Julie Bishop rocks a feather dress and a bouffant blow wave as she accessorises with $4,000 worth of designer items at Australian Fashion Week

The former politician, 67, stepped out sporting $4,000 worth of designer accessories as she strutted her stuff into event, which kicked off at Carriageworks in Sydney on Monday.

Wearing a feathery black dress by Rachel Gilbert that retails at $2,000, the ex deputy leader of the Liberal Party looked effortlessy chic ahead of the first runway show, Albus Lumen. With her new beau Stephen Gray on her arm in a series of Instagram photos, the politician received the award from Prime Minister Kishida Fumio during a very exclusive ceremony. The pair have been spotted in several happy snaps on Julie's social accounts since their relationship announcement, and even recently travelled to South Australia for a 'fabulous outback adventure'.
