Prestigious TRIC Awards overlook female nominees at 2024 ceremony with men dominating by 79 percent
Last year, women made up 35 percent of the talent represented in categories such as Radio Personality, Soap Actor, TV personality and Radio Show.
Men have dominated this year's TRIC Awards with just six of the 28 nominees for the major categories women - including Susanna Reid (left, at the 2023 event) and Sara Cox (at the 2022 ceremony) And only Ms Cox, 49, has endured the cull of female presenters represented in the awards this year as she is nominated alongside Chris Moyles, Ken Bruce and Roman Kemp. Britain's Got Talent judge, Amanda Holden, 53, has seen her Heart Breakfast show with Jamie Theakston recognised along with Roman Kemp and Ken Bruce's daytime slots.
