Sony won’t be holding the Jan. 13 Hollywood premiere for its upcoming Keke Palmer and SZA R-rated comedy One of Them Days as L.A.’s wildfires rage on. When they discover Alyssa’s boyfriend (Joshua David Neal) has blown their rent money, the duo finds themselves going to extremes in a comical race against the clock to avoid eviction and keep their friendship intact. Sony has been trying to resuscitate pure R-rated comedies at the box office in recent years; a once lucrative cinema genre which has jettisoned to streaming.
