Premier League footballer in horror car smash that left him trapped for almost an hour
A West Ham footballer is in hospital after getting into a serious car crash on Saturday, which saw him trapped inside for almost an hour before being airlifted away by emergency crews.
Michail Antonio is reportedly in a stable condition after getting into a horrific car crash on Saturday (7 December) which saw his £260,000 Ferrari FF smashed into trees after seemingly spinning off of the road in Epping. They concluded: "The club will make no further comment this evening but issue a further update in due course.” West Ham's next clash is on Monday, 9 December, when they will take on Wolves. This isn't the first time Michail has been involved in a car accident, as he previously crashed his Lamborghini Huracan on Christmas Day in 2019 into a home's bin shed in Balham, South London.
