Pregnant Princess Sofia of Sweden Says of Milestone 40th Birthday Plans ‘A Bigger Birthday Party Will Wait a Little Bit’
Princess Sofia of Sweden is pregnant with her fourth child with husband Prince Carl Philip, due in February. Because she is heavily pregnant, the royal told ‘Vogue Scandinavia’ that she will scale back her 40th birthday party plans as she turns the milestone age on Dec. 6, but said that she is fine with the change.
The royal — who is currently pregnant with her fourth child with husband Prince Carl Philip — will turn 40 on Friday, Dec. 6, and told Vogue Scandinavia that being so late in her pregnancy will thwart any plans she might have had for a big bash to ring in the new decade of her life. Sofia and Carl Philip announced their happy news of baby number four on Instagram three months ago, writing at the time that the princess was “doing well” and that her pregnancy wouldn’t impact her already planned work schedule. While Carl Philip and Sofia typically keep their family life private, they candidly spoke about how they juggled parenting with royal duties in a 2017 interview with Swedish magazine Kupé(per Hello!).
