She was offered a new role following the cancellation of CNN This Morning, but instead decided to leave, the network confirmed. Lemon was ousted from the network the following April, and Collins left for her primetime show the following June. Phil Mattingly joined as co-host, but the show itself was dropped earlier this year in a retool of the network morning schedule.
