Pop icon Kylie Minogue to make return to the BRIT Awards stage at 2024 ceremony after last performing at the glitzy bash 16 years ago


Kylie Minogue is reportedly set to take to the stage at the upcoming BRIT Awards for the first time in 16 years.

Music industry chiefs faced a backlash when they scrapped the two categories in a bid to be inclusive and relevant after non-binary musicians including Sam Smith, who identifies as neither male nor female, said they felt excluded. The star also admitted 'woke culture' would have made Queen question whether iconic frontman Freddie Mercury was the 'right colour or sex' if the rock band formed in the present day. Rachel joins an illustrious list of British artists and creative powerhouses who for over ten years have been giving the BRIT awards status a different look and makeover; from Dame Vivienne Westood, Tracey Emin, Pam Hogg to Sir Phillip Treacy, Damien Hirst and Anish Kapoor.
