Poll: Nearly 1 In 5 Believe Taylor Swift ‘Psy-Op’ Conspiracy Theory
The Swift conspiracy theory has taken hold on the right.
A Monmouth University poll released today showed that 18% believe that Swift is part of a covert government effort to help Joe Biden get elected this year. Swift endorsed Biden in the 2020 election and was critical of Trump that year, so the idea that she would support the president again is not so far fetched. The Chiefs won, and Biden’s team made light of the conspiracy theory in social media posts.
