Police issue stark warning to Taylor Swift fans ahead of her Eras tour arriving in Australia: 'Check it twice'


Australian fans are eagerly awaiting Taylor Swift 's arrival Down Under, with her sold-out Eras tour set to sweep the country in a matter of days.

The state's Cybercrime Squad explained how scammers are targeting eager fans with fake ticket sales on social media and gave advice on how to spot the scams. In his Swift lyric-laden statement, Detective Sergeant John Cheyne of Cybercrime Squad added: 'We know you're often too in love to think straight when it comes to nabbing a ticket to the Eras Tour, but please, keep your side of the street clean and protect yourself. Taylor's Australian leg of the Eras tour is set to kick off at Melbourne's Cricket Ground on February 16, with the global superstar taking to the stage three nights in a row.
