Playbill Names Jolie Schaffzin Publisher; First Woman To Hold Title
A veteran of the publication with 27 years of service, Jolie Schaffzin becomes the first woman to hold the role of Playbill's publisher.
Over the decades, she has built deep relationships across the advertising and theater industries, championing the power of storytelling both on stage and in print. A lifelong theatergoer, Schaffzin also supports organizations that strengthen the arts community, including Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and the Dramatist Guild Foundation. Her appointment comes in Playbill’s 140th anniversary year and at a time when Broadway is on track to break records.
