The singer is expected to perform just before Vice President Kamala Harris takes the stage to deliver her acceptance speech. Deadline exclusively reported earlier this week that Taylor Swift, despite much online speculation, will not perform at the convention, final night or otherwise. Tonight’s line-up of performers include John Legend and Sheila E. in a tribute to Prince, Minnesota’s beloved musical son (Harris’ running mate Tim Walz, accepting the Vice Presidential nomination tonight, is the governor of Minnesota).
