Piers Morgan on Burying the Hatchet With Trump, Being ‘Bored’ by Harry and Meghan and the ‘Gamble’ of Leaving Murdoch’s Empire to Bet It All on YouTube
The divisive British media personality has — once again — bounced back, this time with his YouTube-only opinion show 'Piers Morgan Uncensored.'
Shortly after, The Young Turks co-creator Cenk Uygur loudly tells pollster Allan Lichtman that he was “stupidly wrong” for forecasting a Democratic victory and “deserves a tall glass of shut-up juice!” Morgan’s unquestionable skills as an interviewer and his impressive rolodex have helped the showbook buzzy guests like Kevin Spacey, Armie Hammer and Fiona Harvey (the supposed real-life Martha from Netflix’s “Baby Reindeer”), all of which have raised “Uncensored’s” profile. Morgan often exhibits a preening self-regard (he’s speaking from a room where the walls are plastered with framed newspaper and magazine covers, many featuring his face), but there’s a good reason he feels the need for chest beating — “Uncensored” is something he claims he’s “basically bet [his] personal bank on.”
