Heartbreak has unfortunately touched their lives, with Pierce losing both his first wife Cassandra to ovarian cancer in 1991 and his daughter Charlotte to the same illness in 2013, echoing the sad loss of her mother at a similar age, reports the Mirror. He reminisced about supporting Cassandra and Charlotte in their final moments: "I held the generous, strong, beautiful hand of my first wife Cassie as ovarian cancer took her life much too soon. In a candid chat with Mail Online in 2013, Pierce spoke highly of how his wife Keely has been his pillar through the toughest times, calling her his "North Star," for her constant support.
