Pierce Brosnan thanks Lily James for letting him star in Cliffhanger reboot as he shares sweet behind-the-scenes photo
The remake of the 1993 Sylvester Stallone film sees Lily play Naomi, the eldest daughter of seasoned mountaineer Ray Cooper ( Pierce ).
Sharing the snap to Instagram, Pierce wrote: 'Dear Lilly, thank you and Jaume Collette Serra (director) for inviting me to come play with y’ll in the mountains of Austria and the fair city of beautiful Munich.' Ray is kidnapped while climbing with the son of a billionaire and Naomi must 'save her family' while fighting 'for survival in the Italian Dolomites,' the synopsis concludes. The film is shooting in Austria, Italy and Germany and also stars Nell Tiger Free, Franz Rogowski, Shubham Saraf, Assaad Bouab, Suzy Bemba and Bruno Gouery.
