Phoebe Waller-Bridge To Narrate Wildlife Documentary ‘Octopus!’ For Amazon
The Fleabag creator is making a two-part documentary about octopuses for Amazon. Waller-Bridge is producing and narrating Octopus! for Prime Video.
It will feature an “eclectic mix” of characters who have their own connections to these creatures, from the scientist trying to save them, the explorer trying to understand them, to Tracy Morgan, who is obsessed with them. It was developed under Wells Street Films overall deal with Amazon MGM Studios and the two companies will produce with Jigsaw Productions. It is directed by by Niharika Desai and executive produced by Jenny Robins and Phoebe Waller-Bridge for Wells Street Films, Stacey Offman and Richard Perello for Jigsaw Productions, and showrunner Melissa Wood.
