Phoebe Dynevor to Star In Shark Thriller For Sony; Tommy Wirkola Directing

Phoebe Dynevor and filmmaker Tommy Wirkola are teaming on an untitled shark thriller for Sony Pictures, sources have confirmed to Deadline.

But Adam McKay and Kevin Messick will produce under their Hyperobject Industries banner, with production to kick off in Australia this summer. Up next, she’ll be seen in two more thrillers: spy pic Inheritance from filmmaker Neil Burger and Anniversary, which also stars Diane Lane, Zoey Deutch and more. Best known for helming Uni’s holiday action comedy Violent Night starring David Harbour, which currently has a sequel in development, Wirkola’s other past credits include Paramount’s Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, Nazi zombie flick Dead Snow,and The Trip, to name just a few.
