Phoebe Dynevor Says ‘Not Many Parts’ Exist for Women Her Age: ‘It’s a Really Good Time’ for ‘Older Women’ and ‘There’s a Lot for Young Men’
Phoebe Dynevor is 28-years-old and says Hollywood does not have roles for her the same way it does for older women and young men.
“Birdgerton” and “Fair Play” actor Phoebe Dynevor lamented in an interview with the London Evening Standard about the limited roles available to women her age. After breaking out in the first season of “Bridgerton,” Dynevor went on to receive universal acclaim for her role in the Sundance sensation “Fair Play.” The movie is now streaming on Netflix. “It was a whirlwind and then I realized that it was over, but it was great,” Dynevor told Variety, explaining that Lois Lane is the type of role she wants to play.
