Phillip Schofield's friends reveal 'real reason' for huge Eamonn Holmes feud with new details
Friends of Phillip Schofield have allegedly revealed the real reason for the star's feud with Eamonn Holmes, claiming the former This Morning host is 'consumed with jealousy'.
"The truth is that Phillip wishes he did message him but bigger things were happening in his life and stroking his ego wasn't one of them," they said. Following Phillip's return to TV with his Channel 5 show, Cast Away, which saw him stranded on a desert island, Eamonn said: "I am one of the people who threw him under the bus, I am very proud to have done it." Following the news of Philip's exit from This Morning, Eamonn didn't waste any time chiming in with a biting remark: "Schofield has finally been caught out".
