Philippines’ Quezon City Film Commission, Europe’s EAVE Team on Marketing Masterclasses (EXCLUSIVE) – Global Bulletin
The Philippines' Quezon City Film Commission is teaming with European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs (EAVE) to launch EAVE marketing masterclasses.
“While Filipino and Southeast Asian filmmakers are renowned for their compelling and daring narratives, there remains a gap in understanding when it comes to identifying the right audiences and platforms for our films. In this day and age, with the need for filmmaking to be more sustainable and profitable, emphasizing the importance of the business side of film has never been more crucial,” said Liza Diño, executive director of the QCFC. The release of keenly anticipated Indian film “Devara 1,” headlined by “RRR” star NTR Jr., has been postponed from April 5 to Oct. 10 to coincide with the Dasara holiday frame.
