Songs by Pharrell, Elton John, Lainey Wilson, and more were included on the Best Original Song shortlist for the 2025 Academy Awards.
The 15-song shortlist also includes Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross’ “Compress/Repress” from Challengers; Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “Tell Me It’s You” from Mufasa, and Robbie Williams’ “Forbidden Road” from his upcoming primate-infused biopic, Better Man.
