Peter Schrager Exits NFL Network’s ‘Good Morning Football’ After 9 Years: “With A Heavy Heart, I’m Stepping Away”


Peter Schrager is leaving Good Morning Football after nine years.

Schrager, who hosted GMFB from a studio in New York City, was also surprised with former co-hosts Nate Burleson and Jason McCourty to remember the good times. Melissa Etheridge, a close friend of Schrager and who sings the GMFB theme song, also bid farewell to the football analyst. At the show’s end, Schrager looked back at his nine years on GMFB and thanked everyone involved with emotional words to his co-hosts Brandt and Jamie Erdahl, who got teary-eyed.
