Peter Pan ‘s Flight has been a staple at Disneyland since opening day in 1955, and is one of Walt Disney ‘s few original attractions that remains operational. It should be noted that Peter Pan himself did not appear in the original ride at all, nor did most of the Native Americans — except a captive Tiger Lily, who was featured in the final scene. Disneyland officials note they consider themselves “constant learners,” and as they become aware of changes that can make attractions “more authentic and relatable,” tweaks are made.
