Peter Navy Tuiasosopo Dies: ‘Street Fighter’, ‘Necessary Roughness’ Actor Was 61


Peter Navy Tuiasosopo, known for his work on Street Fighter, Necessary Roughness and The Fast and the Furious among many others, died Monday

A cause of death was not revealed in the Facebook post, but his son told TMZ his father died from heart complications in Phoenix, Arizona. Tuiasosopo began his acting career in 1991 with his first film role as Manumana “the Slender”, the committed and respectful center on the fictional reconstructed Texas State “Fighting Armadillos” football team in Necessary Roughness. His other film credits include the role of Willie Dumaine in 12 Rounds with John Cena, as well as Batman & Robin, BASEketball, Charlie’s Angels, Austin Powers in Gold Member and The Scorpion King, among others.
