Peter Kay's 'offensive' joke on iconic show that led to more than 100 BBC complaints

Peter Kay was forced to kick out two hecklers from his comedy gig over the weekend after he was repeatedly interrupted - but it's not the first time the funnyman has come under fire

Peter Kay has been compelled to speak out after he had to remove two disruptive fans from his recent gig, which turned a bit chaotic. One fan, who later said he felt like a "terrorist", was escorted out for yelling "garlic bread", while another woman, likened by Kay to Lisa Riley, was also shown the door. The beloved comedian explained that he had "no choice" but to have security step in at Manchester's AO Arena due to "repeated disruptions" that made it "impossible to continue" with the show on Saturday.
