Peter Crombie, Actor Who Played ‘Crazy’ Joe Davola on ‘Seinfeld,’ Dead at 71
Peter Crombie, the actor who played "Crazy" Joe Davola on Seinfeld, has died at the age of 71.
“It is with shock and extreme sadness that I share my Ex-husband died this morning,” Kijner wrote on Instagram. Over the course of his arc, Davola also briefly dated and stalked Julia Louis Dreyfus’ Elaine Benes, dressed up like the clown from the opera Pagliacci, and assaulted Kramer before his character disappeared following the Season 4 finale. In addition to his memorable run on Seinfeld, Crombie also appeared in Natural Born Killers, NYPD Blue, The Doors, Se7en, and the miniseries House of Frankenstein.
