Eamonn and Ruth met in 1997 after being introduced by a mutual friend and went on to marry in Hampshire in 2010, now sharing a 21 year old son, Jack. Claiming that Eamonn's health battle has played a large part in the relationship, one source has explained that Ruth felt more a 'carer' than wife. Talking to MailOnline, they continued: "He has had a torrid time with his health, he's in constant pain, and the truth is he can't contain how miserable it makes him."
