Pete Davidson’s Peacock Comedy ‘Bupkis’ Will Not Return for a Season 2 Despite Renewal

Pete Davidson will not continue with his semi-autobiographical Peacock comedy 'Bupkis,' which had previously been renewed.

I am so grateful to Lorne Michaels and Broadway Video, Peacock, Universal Television and the amazing cast and writers for helping me create something honest, funny and heartfelt. Edie Falco and Joe Pesci also starred in “Bupkis,” in which Davidson played a version of himself “as he attempts to work through unique family dynamics and the complexities of fame to form meaningful relationships.” The series premiered on May 4, 2023, and ran for eight episodes. Guest stars on the half-hour series included La La Anthony, Carly Aquilino, Colson Baker (Machine Gun Kelly), Josh Bitton, Preston Brodrick, Steve Buscemi, Bobby Cannavale, Kevin Corrigan, Nadia Dajani, Charlamagne Tha God, Charlie Day, Philip Ettinger, Derek Gaines, Brad Garrett, Al Gore, Paul Walter Hauser, Lynne Koplitz, Loulou Lazarus, Sunita Mani, John Mulaney, John Pollono, Delaney Quinn, Simon Rex, Oona Roche, Ray Romano, Cliff “Method Man” Smith, Jon Stewart, Kenan Thompson, Ricky Velez, Marissa Jaret Winokur and Chase Sui Wonders.
