Perrie Edwards, who was once engaged to Liam's ex-bandmate Zayn Malik and shared her X Factor roots with the late pop icon, has cancelled her scheduled appearance on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge in light of the devastating news. At 16, Liam initially auditioned as a solo act but was quickly integrated into what would become the global sensation One Direction alongside Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson.
