Perfect Match Season-Premiere Recap: Trouble in Tulum
The second season finds its groove by encouraging everyone to be as messy as humanly possible.
So no matter how much host Nick Lachey insists that this is all in the name of love, Perfect Match subtly acknowledges from the jump that it’s not actually about finding the two most compatible people in Netflix’s incestuous reality-verse and sending them on a luxurious vacation. But it’s still hard to believe that he’s a mature man ready for marriage when he’s telling us he’s nervous he might be going on a date with someone he’s “already spunked in.” I can only hope that Jessica’s daughter never hears any of Harry’s many obscene confessionals. But during a game of “truth or dare” back at the villa, Chris makes a clear move on Tolú by reviving his Axel Stone stripper persona.
