People Just Do Nothing star explains how Love Island inspired his new TV series Peacock


BBC Three comedy Peacock returns to screens tonight - and star Steve Stamp has revealed that the comedy was originally inspired by the saucy singles on ITV2's Love Island

The surprisingly unhealthy personal trainer spends his days seething with jealousy at his gym rival, chatting to his best friend Spooner (Thomas Gray) and occasionally training clients, including awkward Jonathan, who is played by Steve himself.
