Penny Lancaster, 53, enjoys jewellery event after revealing she secretly had a breakdown when struggling with undiagnosed menopause


The former model, 53, looked in her element as she attended the Boodles gallery and enjoyed a spot of jewellery shopping before the tennis kicked off.

When she first started experiencing symptoms, Penny and Sir Rod, 79, alongside their two sons Alistair, 18, and Aiden, 13, had just decamped their home in Florida and moved back to the UK during lockdown. Penny recently recalled the moment her husband Rod Stewart urged her to seek medical help after she threw plates across the kitchen in front of their two sons (pictured last year) Symptoms often include hot flushes, night sweats, low mood, reduced sex drive, vaginal dryness, an increase in facial hair and difficulty sleeping.
