Penn Badgley channeled his former ‘Gossip Girl’ character while filming the final season of ‘You’ in New York City
Badgley, 37, who stars as serial killer Joe Goldberg on the hit Netflix series, was seen in character while walking the streets of New York City on Monday, March 25. Netflix’s You offered a series shake-up when Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) decided to move back to New York after a murder spree in London — but the story might be just getting started. Madeline Brewer, meanwhile, will portray Bronte, an “enigmatic and free-spirited playwright who comes to work at Joe Goldberg’s new bookstore.” Michael Foley and Justin W Lo replace creator Sera Gamble as co-showrunners.
