Johnny Depp and Penélope Cruz are set to reteam on 'Day Drinker' for Lionsgate, the studio announced on Monday.

First reported months ago — but at that time, with Sydney Sweeney starring opposite Depp — the project will mark the latter’s first big studio outing since the resolution of his defamation case against Amber Heard in 2022. Producers include Thunder Road’s Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee ( John Wick franchise), Adam Kolbrenner, and Dean.
